In August, Anam Thubten was joined at the hermitage by four local Lamas from the Nyingma lineage to make offerings of gratitude to the land and to consecrate the ground for the building of a Stupa.

Once complete, practitioners will be able to circumambulate this sacred form as a meditation practice, contemplating the endless cycle of rebirth (samsara) and the eightfold path that leads to freedom from suffering. As the heart of our beloved hermitage, the Stupa is the seed of awakening that will blossom again and again for the sake of all beings.
